Speakers:
Leslie Weldon, former Deputy Chief for the United States Forest Service.
Over her 41-year career, Leslie has led local, regional, and national Forest Service land management, forestry, fish, wildlife, and recreation programs and policies in Washington State, Oregon, Montana, and Washington, DC. Her more recent roles have focused on ensuring an empowered, diverse and inclusive workforce where all USDA employees can thrive as public servants.
Leslie, began her career with USFS as a teen when she worked two summers in the Youth Conservation Corps and has been a consistent and vocal champion of youth conservation and service corps programs.
